ON-THE-ROAD PRACTICAL DRIVING LESSONS

 

U-LURN RITE provides private one-on-one lessons behind the wheel, where students are taught the correct driving methods, with an emphasis on safety.  U-LURN RITE ensures that its students not only pass, but enter the road with the skills and techniques they need to drive safely throughout their life, including basic city & highway driving, defensive driving practices, parallel parking, as well as strategies on accident avoidance and what to do during inclement and uncontrollable road conditions.

U-LURN RITE offers lessons that are 60 minutes in length, which allows sufficient time for the student to learn, practice & review skills taught previously. Students typically enroll for 6 lessons for a total of 6 hours of training. However, U-LURN RITE is happy to accommodate students who may also choose to take individual 75-minute lessons.

PETER C. NOTARO, FOUNDER OF U-LURN RITE, RECEIVED CERTIFICATION IN DRIVER AND TRAFFIC SAFETY EDUCATION IN 1973 FROM EAST STROUDSBURG UNIVERSITY. FROM SEPTEMBER OF 1973 UNTIL JUNE OF 1982 HE WAS EMPLOYED AS A DRIVER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR TEACHING BOTH CLASSROOM DRIVER THEORY AND PRACTICAL DRIVING FOR THE HAZLETON AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT. IN JUNE OF 1982, WHEN THE HAZLETON AREA SCHOOL BOARD DECIDED TO ELIMINATE DRIVER EDUCATION FROM IT’S CURRICULUM IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE BUDGET FOR THE 1982-83 SCHOOL TERM, MR. NOTARO UNDERSTOOD THE IMPORTANCE OF DRIVER EDUCATION AND NEED IN THE MARKETPLACE, THUS DECIDED TO OBTAIN HIS LICENSE AS A PRIVATE DRIVER TRAINING SCHOOL WITH THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO SERVICE THE TRI-COUNTY AREA.

TODAY, U-LURN RITE HAS FOUR LICENSED INSTRUCTOR’S ON STAFF, PROVIDING DRIVING INSTRUCTION SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.
